Tour to Agra from Delhi is a good option, in so far as visiting new places are concerned. The famous place around Delhi is Agra who is known by its symbol of love the Taj Mahal. Agra is 200 km southeast from Delhi.

The beautiful city, Agra is situated on the banks of holy river Yamuna. It is the 3rd largest city in Utter Pradesh. It is a salient destination for the tourist visiting Agra. Every year millions of tourists visit Agra from all over the world.
The Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal is one of the 7 Wonders of the World. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his wife Mumtaz. Taj Mahal was built between 1631 A.D and 1654 A.D. It is said that it have been built with the manpower of about 22,000 labors which includes Naqqashi laborers, painters, stonecutters, garden-layers, gardeners, embroidery artists and masons. It was built as a mausoleum by Shah Jahan after the death of his wife Mumtaz. It is said that Shah Jahan was very much pained by the death of his favorite wife.

The whole Mahal is made up of White marble. The dazzling white Tomb is so serene that it makes you feel the melancholy embedded in it. The Taj Mahal is actually an desegregated complex of structures that contains mosque , entrances, lodges and a gardens. There are different means to travel Agra according to one choice. Few options are listed below:

Reach Agra By Road

From Delhi: One way to reach Agra is to travel through road. A highway covers 200 km distance from Delhi to Agra. By road it takes about 4-5 hours to get to the highway. The initial approach to the highway is along Mathura Road in Delhi. For the people coming from South Delhi or Delhi Airport, it will be more comfortable for them if they choose Aurobindo Marg (Mehrauli Road). As there is rush in such highways so its better if one drives carefully.
Another option to travel by road that one can hire a car with a driver. The fairs for a big car for 5 persons from/to the Delhi airport charged Rs. 3500.
Agra boasts of 3 National Highways including N.H. No. 2, 3 and 11. The government and private bus services are available to and from Agra to all the nearby major destinations. One can hire ordinary buses or the deluxe coaches, according to their requirements. U.P. Tourism also conducts special guided tours for the tourists, who come here just for a day, including Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Sikandra and Fatehpur Sikri in their itineraries.
Travel by cars is not permitted near the Taj Complex, but the rest of the tour to Agra is possible by car. Charges differ from car to car as according to the companies. You can either book a taxi from hotel or directly book one outside the railway station. There is government authorized taxi stand. 950Rs/day for 12 hours.
Reach Agra City By Bus
Another medium to travel by road is to travel by bus. A number of buses are available Delhi to Agra. It takes about 4-5 hours to reach Agra by bus. There are basically 3 bus stands.

Reach Agra in Flight from Delhi:

The flights to Agra's Kheria Airport (IATA: AGR ICAO: VIAG) is seasonal. As of November 2008, the city is served by Kingfisher Airlines and Air India Regional, who both fly on the Delhi-Agra-Jaipur tourist triangle route. There are enough number of flights available to fly from Delhi to Agra. Some of the flights are of Indian Airlines and Air Deccan.

Reach Agra by Train:

The trains from Delhi to Agra are Shatabdi Express, Taj Express, and Rajdhani Express. Agra is on the main train line between the Delhi-Mumbai (Bombay) and Delhi-Chennai routes. Hence many trains are available in for this route. Everyday there are about twenty trains to Delhi. There are three stations in Agra:
Stations
• Agra Cantt: It is the main railway station of Agra. It takes a short ride from the station by car, auto-rickshaw, or cycle rickshaw.
• Agra Fort station: This station is been serviced by the interstate express trains. Some of these trains also stop at Agra Cantt.
• Raja Ki Mandi: This is a small station. Some of the trains which stop at Agra Cantt also stop here.
